No one likes the feeling of being hungry. There’s nothing worse than drinking a smoothie for breakfast and then you’re absolutely STARVING twenty minutes later. Your blood sugar drops and you’re ready to eat everything in sight. It sucks! We all hate it because we end up gaining weight when we were just trying to be healthy in first place. What’s up with that?

Well chances are the smoothie you made was no different than your ex boyfriend. GOOD FOR NOTHING. It likely lacked a good source of protein and fiber to help keep you full and satisfied. A lot of people make the mistake of packing their smoothies with fruits and vegetables. Obviously fruits and veggies are awesome, but you NEED protein and fiber to slow down the digestion process to leave you feeling fuller, longer.

So this week, I’m sharing my favourite delicious AND satisfying breakfast smoothie for weight loss. Just like overnight oats this recipe can be made the night before. Perfect for breakfast on the go. And if  you’re not sure which protein powder you should add to your smoothie, check out this blog post. Okay, let’s get sipping!
