Overnight oats just might win the award for being the easiest and most delicious breakfast ever. Not to mention a complete life saver for those chaotic mornings. If you’ve never made them before, let me tell you why I’m their biggest fan.

1. They’re completely no-cook. Just load up mason jars with oats and milk (I prefer almond) and let them soak overnight in the fridge. For me, this is perfect because I rarely give myself time to make toast in the morning.

2. They’re easy to meal prep and store in the fridge. Which means you can make a week’s worth in less than 10 minutes. So you’ll be less likely to make a bad food choice at the Tim Horton drive through in the morning.

3. The flavour options are limitless.  Adding different toppings everyday means you’ll never get bored of the same breakfast.

4. They’re easy on the wallet.  So go on and buy yourself that new sports bra you’ve been eyeing, you deserve it! You’re saving money on breakfast!

5. Your health and waistline will thank you. With overnight oats you can enjoy the goodness of magnesium, fiber, plant-based protein and potassium. Oats are also one of the most recommended foods for preventing heart disease, lowering your blood sugar and improving your nervous system function.
