It’s Sunday. You hustled all week at your 9-5 (that obviously feels more like a 9-9 – am i right?), you hit all your workouts and you said no to donuts in the office kitchen cause your a boss like that. And last night you enjoyed a few glasses a vino and forgot to wash off your mascara before your head hit the pillow. Its okay, you’re human and today is SKIN CARE SUNDAY!
While I really wish I could dedicate every day of the week to skincare but for now Sundays will have to do. There’s just something about starting off the work week with fresh, glowing skin. After church I throw on some lounge wear and put my beloved beauty ritual into high gear. All of the products in the box are great but the one I love love love is the Face Lift Powder and Activator. Like the chemist you are you mix these two ingredients up in a bowl like a little chemist until you have the consistency of a thin lotion. Once mixed, you apply it in an upward-outward motion with the Brush Fan Lift all over your face and neck. (Applying masks with a brush has now grown into a full-blown obsession for me. It just feels so luxe!) While you let the mask dry for 30 minutes, it literally starts to feel like someone is pulling your face and neck upwards. You know when you’re getting your eyebrows threaded and the lady asks you to pull your forehead up? That is EXACTLY how it feels. The pull is so strong, you know the results are going to be great…and they are! It is an immediate but temporary face lift that tightens the skin for a more youthful look.
